Medley of Holly Wreath

I have a Christmas card to share today.

I love a wreath on a Christmas card and Holly in general.

I used a very simple Holly stamp and embossed it onto a variety of cardstock and patterned papers.  I created the wreath with the addition of some Holly die cuts in felt and foam.

I used a further Holly branch stamp and embossed in clear onto white for a very subtle background to the wreath and matted onto co-ordinated card layers.

Lastly, using the same Holly branch I stamped an impression into some air dry clay and painted using shades of green.

I need to add a greeting onto the clay but I was too excited to share.

Hope you like it!

Have a good weekend.

Remembrance Day

I am wearing my poppies today with pride; red and mauve to remember all the soldiers and all the animals too.

Today I would love to share a card I made using stamps from Chocolate Baroque.

I like this card because my little boy helped make the background for the stamping using the trusty shaving foam technique.

Thanks for stopping by.

Please come back soon for some more Christmas cards.

Zentangle Mandala

I have another zentangle design to share today.

I normally use an outline shape of an animal or bird as a starting point, so doing a mandala shape was quite different.

I love the way it evolved into this shape.

I went a little “dotty”, adding dots everywhere for shade and interest. It was very time consuming but very effective and like any zentangle, it was very relaxing.

The result of a very relaxing evening.

Thanks for stopping by.

See you again soon.
