I have a card to share today which could be suitable for many occasions.
It uses a myriad of stamps from my stash on the background and the matted layers.
I then threw a load of die cuts at it.
A little wire for the antennae.
And it is finished.
I hope you visit again soon.
I am back today to share my new addiction….Twinchies
I do not make New Years resolutions but when I discovered this “world of minatures” I was intrigued and wanted to join in.
I naturally fill whatever space there is open to me, whether it be a card or scrapbook page or doodle. If I start with a large piece of paper I will almost always fill it. So thinking it would be a great challenge to restrict size I started on my journey of Twinchies.
Here is one effort using a lovely stamp from Hobby Art.
I am addicted. I cannot help myself. The worst thing is I am even less likely to throw any trimmings away because I automatically think, “I can get a Twinchie out of that…”
I would love to hear if anyone else if a Twinchie addict.
Hello on this rainy Sunday afternoon.
I am not gloomy however, due to the fantastic post that Mr Postman brought me yesterday…..A belated Christmas present from OH!
I adore pencils. I think they are beautiful and nothing makes me smile more than seeing freshly sharpened points on pencils ready for playing with.
So what do will I use them for?…..It can be only one thing. One of my beautiful doggies.
I love looking through photographs, however, I do not enjoy organising a pile of 500 into some sort of order. However, I have found a selection of possibilities to try, just need to narrow down my choices.
I always think this is the most time consuming part of any project….Actually deciding what to do!
Hoping I do get on with it pretty sharpish I will share my results.
See you again soon.
I unfortunately have not had too much time for “playing” this week due to a little girl being poorly, but I do have a “work in progress” to share, using a very beautiful Bird of Paradise Flower stamp, amongst others.
Now that my gorgeous little girl is better I will continue with this background and transform it into a finished piece.
I hope you have a great weekend. See you again soon.
I have been absolutely thrilled at the response to my Zentangle Owl that I have recreated him in a quilled version.
Here he is…
I hope you like him. The question is what to do with him now?
Thanks for visiting.
I have 2 cards to share today on the same theme.
I started by stamping 2 flower stamps in an oval shape by masking the first image.
I then added 2 label dies and a butterfly, together with some punched corner detail.
In the second card I used an alternative label shape, a different corner punch and added some flowers with the butterfly.
I hope you like them.
See you again soon.
I hope you had a nice weekend.
I spent mine getting messy with both acrylic and watercolour paints making backgrounds ready for stamping.
My current addiction for twinchies continues with this batch all ready for being creative.
Please visit again soon for completed cards made using them.
See you soon
