Fancy Butterfly Mixed Media

Hello

I have some mixed media to share today which started as a piece of cereal box card before being covered in shades of yellow, orange and pink acrylic paint.

I created various layers using stamps with ink and embossing powders and masks with acrylic paint.

I stamped the butterfly stamp from Hobby Art in black and layered the same image in pink vellum on top. A few jewel embellishments make the perfect body.

I added 2 more card layers using the same stamps and embossing powder with a corner punch and further paper pricking detail.

I hope you like it.

Floral Wreath in Pink

Hello

In today’s card I have used a floral stamp from Chocolate Baroque, flower dies from Spellbinders and a flourish dies from Sizzix.

I love mask stamping, and stamped the flower in the North, South, East and West positions and then masked each image and stamped in the gaps.

I used my favourite watercolour pencils to shade the flowers.

Thanks for visiting.

Hope you have a great weekend.

‘I Love Autumn Leaves’ Bookmark

Hello

I absolutely love this season, it’s so pretty with all the lovely Autumnal colours, so I decided to make myself a bookmark using Spellbinder Leaves dies and Twinchies.

I love this technique of using the negative space. I mounted the ‘waste’ onto another Twinchie, which I had painted with acrylic paint, using foam to highlight the cut.

I hope you like it.
