Holly Tiles

Hello

I have a more time-consuming card to share today but I really enjoyed making this one.

I cut some inch tiles and then stamped onto each one a different part of a holly stamp. I coloured all images using pencils.

I used the same holly stamp onto patterned cardstock and coloured the image using alcohol markers.

Unfortunately, the photo doesn’t really pick up the depth in the image, in real life I am really pleased with this card.  A little bit different.

I can’t believe how quickly December goes.

Burgundy Poinsettia Merry Christmas

Hello

I have a large card today which I spent a little more time over.

I used the same mask stamping technique which has appeared in some previous posts but this time I made it larger.

I stamped the poinsettias first and embossed with red tinsel embossing powder. Once masked, I stamped a very fancy flourish and a Merry Christmas text stamp to fill the spaces.

I mounted my stamping onto a burgundy cardstock and made poinsettias using the same cardstock with a Spellbinders die.

I hope you like it.  This card is for someone very special.

Poinsettia Wreath

Hello

I love this poinsettia stamp and even though it was one of the very first stamps I bought I still don’t get bored of using it. I have removed it from its wooden block which I think makes it both much easier to stamp and to store.

I stamped in the North, South, East and West positions, masked and stamped in all the gaps.

I cut some mini Poinsettias and created a further layer on my wreath.

I hope you like it.
