I have another card today using one of my stock stencil and stitched cut-outs.
This one is for my friend who was poorly so I added a punch art flower.
Thanks for visiting.
I hope you had a lovely Christmas and I wish you a very Happy New Year!
I have managed to make great progress over the Christmas break to finish making up my patchwork pencil wrap.
I added elastic to fit my selection of drawing materials, so I have them all in one place when I need, so all the loops are of different sizes on purpose.
I added a length of ribbon at the side to tie up the pencil wrap when filled. (Might have used a length of ribbon that was decorating a Christmas present!)
I have a brilliant post today to share. I think they make quite the addition to any Christmas table for a post-Christmas Dinner chocolate which is discretely concealed inside.
I got the idea from a friend who was knitting similar things for charity sales but as I don’t knit I thought I would come up with some crochet alternatives.
Hopefully I will have some more done for next Christmas.
I have left my most favourite till last. This one uses a lovely set of stamps from one of my favourite syppliers – Hobby Art.
I uses alcohol markers to colour the reindeers and robin and watercolours for the background.
I added a few holly leaves and wire work as embelishments.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
