Sunflowers and Lillies in Yellow

Today’s card is similar to a journal page I did recently, which I thought would translate nicely into a card, so I had a play.

I stamped the image to form a circle and coloured using alcohol markers.

To make it a card I added a large lily die-cut in the centre, which I added detail with alcohol markers.

I hope you like it.

Thanks for visiting.

Christmas Reindeer Trio

Happy Christmas

I have left my most favourite till last.  This one uses a lovely set of stamps from one of my favourite syppliers – Hobby Art.

I uses alcohol markers to colour the reindeers and robin and watercolours for the background.

I added a few holly leaves and wire work as embelishments.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Past Projects Reminder 2

Hello again.

I have another past project to share today.

My Mum always keeps everything I make in a box ready to cut up and use in her scrapbooking, so I had a rummage to see what old projects she had lurking.

I found this….

This card was actually one of my very first attempts at colouring with alcohol markers and I coloured a balloon shape to make a 3D Hot Air Balloon off on safari as my Dad loves all things things Africa themed.  The basket of the balloon is made from very tiny strips of card weaved together. I used water coloured pencils for the sky.

I hope you like it.

See you again soon.

Poppy Card

I have been using Poppies a lot recently to commemorate the centenary and I couldn’t not use this lovely little stamp from Hobby Arts.

Now a little confession, this card is not stuck down yet as I couldn’t decide how to lay it out.  Here are my options….

I would love to hear any comments as I’m a little stuck.

Anyhow, I just love this stamp, which I have coloured here using Alcohol Markers.

Have a great day.
