Vintage Autumn Owl

Hello

I have another card to share today using my Black Flower Creative stamps (still to be coming soon)

I stamped the owl and the leaf images and coloured in using pencils. I then embossed the entire image using an embossing folder.

I coloured the roses in brown to make them look like conkers or nuts for a more autumnal feel.

I added a length of my handmade crochet lace which I have in my stash.

And lastly added a bundle of flowers and flourishes.

Brown Owl

Hello

I have another of my stamps today to share, this time coloured very traditionally and ideal for the men in our lives.

I stamped and coloured my “soon to be available Black Flower Creative rubber stamps” and then embossed using a leaf embossilicious folder.

I inked over the embossing around the owl and made it darker at the edges.

A simple matt onto black and a co-ordinated patterned cardstock and my card is finished.

2014 Teacher Thank You Gifts

Hello

Well today is my eldest son’s last ever day at Primary School, but there will be no tears only excitement looking forward to big school.  It’s surprising where time goes, because I still see the little boy who was terrified to be left at school for the first time, anyhow, instead of reminiscing I shall share the pictures of the gifts I have made for all the teachers.

Bracelets for the ladies…

And everyone including teaching assistants gets a bookmark made using my very own Black Flower Creative stamps, watch this space for more information coming soon.

The smaller owl in the range has interchangeable eyes…..

…albeit here I only used a clock and the plain eye……what other options could there be?
