I have another art journal page to share today featuring my favourite theme: butterflies!
The butterflies are coloured with pencils for a subtle effect.
I used a stencil to add some texture with clear dimensional paste and also used clear embossing powder on a harlequin stamp.

I have a quick tag to share today which uses a lovely little butterfly stamp from my stash in lovely bright spring colours.
I used a multi-coloured inkpad and clear embossing powder to create the collage stamping and masked the butterflies so they would stand out.

I have a page of my rapidly growing Art Journal to share today.
I started with the butterfly stamps from Chocolate Baroque and the page grew from there.
I used some Sizzix diecut cogs….
I coloured the butterflies using pencils…
This was the background before the diecuts….
The 3D paste and clear embossing shows up better in real life but is visible here…

I have some quick Twinchies to share today using my favourite colour and favourite theme….sorry.
I was really pleased with the background so took a picture before I covered it up.

March for me is a mad month so I have lots of cards to make quickly, so hopefully there will be lots over the next couple of weeks … hopefully! Today I have the first which is a quick card ready for Mothers Day on Sunday.

My goodness it’s cold outside, so all the more reason to stay inside and enjoy all things crafty.
I was helping my Mum recently and was reminded of this canvas I made for her a while ago, using a selection of stamps and dies.

I hope you are having a lovely Bank Holiday, we have rain here so I am very happy to be tucked up inside. I have just enough time to share a card I have made.
I started by stamping a selection of butterflies from Chocolate Baroque and filled in the gaps using a section of a text stamp. I stamped in Versamark and used pastels in blues and greens.
I then cut some butterflies using a Spellbinders die and letters from an XCut die.
I used Sue Wilsons background die and cut into sections to sit behind the various layers.

I hope you all had a good weekend but another week is upon us so it’s time for another share. Today I have some classic collage stamping with butterflies, flowers and flourishes to name a few.
I started by stamping the butterflies and flowers and masked them off before continuing to stamp in between them. I like to stamp only sections of a stamp, particularly if it is a large stamp for a more random look. Here I used a large text and flourish stamp but only inked sections randomly.
I used the same flower stamp on some parchment and cut each one out and added a jewel in the centre of each before arranging in the corner.
I added some diecut flourishes in corresponding cardstock, which I also used for the matt layers.
