Purple Daisies

I have another purple card today…..Ooops!

I used a lovely daisy stamp from Hobby Arts to create the main topper and a Shrink Plastic decoration.

I then used the same stamp to create the collage background sections, both made in the same way but different sizes.

I stamped the daisy randomly and at strange angles and masked each one off.  I then filled in the background area with other stamps including a flourish, a flower, a text and a texture stamp.

I used a Celtic spellbinder die and various flower shapes in contrasting colours to make the embellishments.

The final addition of some crochet flowers I had made in a variegated thread finishes the centres of the flowers lovely.

Thanks for visiting.  Hope to see you again…

A Round of Daisies

I would like to share another card featuring the very beautiful Hobby Art Daisy stamp.

I firstly stamped in the north, south, east and west positions then masked each image and stamped in between.

Each image has been coloured using pencils which gives a very soft finish, particularly the addition of a touch of pale blue to highlight the white of the daisy.

A little flourish and parchment daisies in the centre, together with a corner punch and a simple matt of patterned card finishes the card off.

Daisy Tiles

I would like to share another card using the lovely Daisy stamp from HobbyArt.  I firstly stamped the Daisy image onto white card for the main focal image. I then stamped different sections randomly of the same stamp onto 14 blue tiles.  I coloured all of the images in using pencils and watercolours.  I then assembled the tiles around the central image onto a navy matt for added definition.   I adore this card; elegant but simple.Image
