Birthday Card for Dad

Hello

June for me is birthday season, so I can now share my Dad’s Birthday Card.

I was at a loss what to do for him on his 82nd birthday so as he is ex RAF and likes planes, this is what I did…

I used my new die set from XCut.

I cut everything in white cardstock and coloured everything using watercolours…

I watercoloured the background…

I watercoloured the components…

and assembled…

Then put it all together…

The plane and ship are connected on a split pin, so they actually move around the world…

Absolutely appropriate for an 82nd birthday…I think!

Floral Wreath in Pink

Hello

In today’s card I have used a floral stamp from Chocolate Baroque, flower dies from Spellbinders and a flourish dies from Sizzix.

I love mask stamping, and stamped the flower in the North, South, East and West positions and then masked each image and stamped in the gaps.

I used my favourite watercolour pencils to shade the flowers.

Rose and Lemon Butterfly

I have a quick card to share today with a butterfly on unsurprisingly….sorry!

I started with a print using a spellbinder die which I then cut using a label shape.

I added a few matts and flourish dies together with my butterfly…of course and the card is finished.

A quick and simple card but bright and jolly I think.
