Journal Page in progress – Floral

Hello

I have the beginning of an art journal page to share today using a Gorjuss stamp with a Daisy stamp from HobbyArt.

I have watercoloured the background and coloured the Gorjuss image using Alcohol Pens.

I have added a little texture paste through a mask randomly.

Thats it for the moment, until I do some more.

My Birthday project I am sharing is Birthday Daisies In Blue

WP_20140806_011

I started with a daisy stamp from Hobby Art for the main topper and then colourised the topper with chalks and further stamped a medley of flourish, text and butterfly stamps in co-ordinated inks. I matted this onto cardstock which I embossed using an embossing folder.

For the background I used a large piece of turquoise handmade paper which I gently frayed the edges.

Then the die-cuts, of which there are plenty, all from Spellbinders, I used:

Bitty Blossoms in White

Wings of Hope in Turquoise

Damask Motifs in Turquoise

Fleur De Lis Motifs in Dark Metallic Blue

Medallion Three in Dark Matt Blue

I added a few silver skeleton leaves around the flowers and a few flower and dragonfly gems.
