I have another Poppy card to share, same theme as my previous post but makes such a difference on a red base card.
This card again uses a Hobby Art stamp and a Sizzix die to make the paper Poppy.
Thanks for visiting.
Hope you have a good day.
I have a quick poppy card to share as it is the season to Remember….
This card uses a lovely Poppy stamp from HobbyArt together with a paper Poppy made from Sizzix dies.
I love Poppies, they are a stunning flower.
I hope you like it.
I am wearing my poppies today with pride; red and mauve to remember all the soldiers and all the animals too.
Today I would love to share a card I made using stamps from Chocolate Baroque.
I like this card because my little boy helped make the background for the stamping using the trusty shaving foam technique.
Thanks for stopping by.
Please come back soon for some more Christmas cards.
I used some lovely stamps from Chocolate Baroque in this card.
I started with the poppies and harlequin and stamped in black ink onto blue cardstock with the text stamp on the opposite side. I used watercolour pencils to colour the fabulous poppies and added a white highlight.
The backing paper is also using the text stamp but in blue and using the second generation of ink. The corner stamp is using the 1st generation of the same coloured ink and is also from Chocolate Baroque. A beautiful corner which I use a LOT!
The butterfly also from the same set of stamps, I stamped onto blue parchment and embossed areas to give shape and the beautiful parchment whitework. The body is simply various blue beads threaded onto wire which is then curled to form the antennae.
With the addition of some ribbon and some black cardstock, the card is finished!
All for now. Thanks for stopping by.
