Owl Zentangle Card

I have a very special card to share today using my very own Black Flower Creative stamps; large owl and leafy branch.

I coloured the stamped images using Spectrum Noir pencils.

I drew a zentangle pattern behind the image in black pen and added pencil shading.

Finally, a couple of simple matt layers to finish the card off.

2014 Teacher Thank You Gifts

Well today is my eldest son’s last ever day at Primary School, but there will be no tears only excitement looking forward to big school.  It’s surprising where time goes, because I still see the little boy who was terrified to be left at school for the first time, anyhow, instead of reminiscing I shall share the pictures of the gifts I have made for all the teachers.

And everyone including teaching assistants gets a bookmark made using my very own Black Flower Creative stamps, watch this space for more information coming soon.

The smaller owl in the range has interchangeable eyes…..

…albeit here I only used a clock and the plain eye……what other options could there be?

Zentangle Mandala #2

Sorry for the lack of posts recently, but we are gradually getting back to “normal” …. whatever that is.  Anyway a quick zentangle today which as always has had a much needed calming influence.

Apologies for the tea stain creeping in at the corner. This was caused by an overexcited dog and more specifically the lack of control of its tail.
